Move and Play Paediatric Therapy provides family-friendly, flexible and fun children’s therapy services and programs.
Intensive Programs
Intensive therapy is a way of delivering a high ‘dose’ or a high amount of therapy, focused on specific goals, over a short period of time.
For example, a child might attend an intensive block of therapy where they have therapy sessions every day for 1-3 weeks, or they might attend a few days a week for 3-6 weeks.
At Move and Play, we love being able to provide intensive therapy for children because we can see how much they benefit from it!
The intensive practice of skills helps children to learn and retain skills more quickly than if they practice those skills infrequently. Intensive therapy can also be really beneficial for children and families who live out of town and cannot attend the clinic regularly, or for families who prefer to do their therapy in short blocks, and have breaks between therapy.
Intensive therapy blocks are available to our regular clients, and are also available to clients who wish to attend our clinic for a once off intensive block before returning to their usual therapies.
